A Local Web Developer You Can Actually Reach

Web Designer & Developer

Who you're working with
Hi — I'm Parker Evans.
I build websites for small and local businesses from here in Auburn. Not an agency, not a reseller, not a team of contractors behind a brand name — just me, doing the work I’m hired to do.
I started Plainsmen Sites because of a pattern that kept repeating: good local businesses, well regarded by the people who’ve actually hired them, losing work online to competitors who were simply easier to find and easier to contact. Not better at the job. Just easier to reach.
That’s a solvable problem, and it’s mostly not a technical one. It’s about explaining the work clearly, proving you’re real, and removing every obstacle between someone wanting to call you and actually calling you.
Serving Auburn, Opelika, and the surrounding Lee County and East Alabama communities. I also work with businesses throughout Alabama.
How I work
What I build around
- A website's job is to bring in work, not to win design awards
- Most visitors are on a phone, so that's the layout that gets built first
- If someone can't tell what you do in a few seconds, nothing else matters
- A lead is worthless if it sits unread in an inbox for three days
- You should be able to reach the person who built your site
- Nobody should need technical vocabulary to ask for a change
