Web Design for Auburn & Opelika Businesses

Your website should be helping you win customers — not quietly costing you the ones who were already interested. I build fast, modern sites that make local businesses look established and turn the people checking you out into calls and quote requests.

  • Built for phones first
  • New leads texted to you
  • You work with me directly

Local web design and support for businesses in Auburn, Opelika, and East Alabama — from someone you can actually get on the phone.

Why your website matters

Is your website costing you customers?

Before anyone calls you, they look you up. They pull your site up on a phone, give it a few seconds, and decide whether you look like the kind of business worth calling.

If it’s slow, dated, or confusing, most of them don’t call to ask. They go back to Google and call the next name on the list.

  • It looks dated

Design ages faster than people expect. A site that looked sharp ten years ago quietly suggests the business behind it might be behind the times too.

  • It loads slowly

Nobody waits anymore. If a page takes more than a few seconds to open on a phone, a good share of visitors are gone before they ever see it.

  • It's hard to use on a phone

Most people find you on a phone. If they have to pinch and zoom to read your services or find your number, they'll go back to Google instead.

  • It doesn't say what you actually do

If someone can't tell within a few seconds that you handle their exact problem, they'll assume you don't and keep looking.

  • Getting in touch is a chore

A phone number that isn't tappable. A form buried at the bottom. An inbox nobody checks. Every extra step between interest and contact costs you work.

  • There's no proof of your work

Photos of finished jobs convince people faster than any paragraph about quality ever will. Without them, you're asking for trust you haven't shown.

  • Nothing builds confidence

No reviews, no service area, no real photos, no name behind the business. Visitors are left guessing whether you're established or a dead link.

  • There's no clear next step

Good websites tell people exactly what to do next. A lot of sites just end, and the visitor quietly closes the tab.

  • Leads slip through the cracks

A form that emails an address you check twice a week is a job you lost to whoever called back first. Speed matters more than most people realize.

The other side of it

A good website works like your best salesperson — and it never takes a day off.

It answers questions at 9 p.m. on a Sunday. It shows people the work you’ve already done. It makes the case for you while you’re on a job, at dinner, or asleep — and hands you the lead the second someone’s ready to talk.

  • Builds trust in the first few seconds
  • Explains exactly what you do
  • Makes calling or requesting a quote effortless
  • Works properly on every phone
  • Shows real proof of your work

Websites built for real businesses

Every project starts the same way: work out who the business needs calling them, then build the shortest, clearest path to that phone call. The Parker Service Company website is a good look at how that plays out.
parkerserviceco.com
Electrical ContractorOpelika, AL

Parker Service Company LLC

A full marketing site for a family-run electrical contractor serving Auburn, Opelika, and Lee County.

The challenge
A well-reviewed local electrician with a broken website of their own. Customers searching for an electrician in Lee County had no easy way to see what services were offered or request a quote outside of business hours. The business owner is busy going to work sites, calling customers and contractors, and managing his employees. He doesn't have time to check his email consistently and when he does, new leads are hidden behind spam.
What I built
Built a fast, mobile-first site with dedicated service pages, a photo gallery, a service-area map, customer reviews, and a quote form that texts the owner as soon as it's submitted.
The result
The business now has a professional home base to send customers to. The site explains the work clearly, shows real credibility, and captures quote requests around the clock.

How I help businesses

More than just a better-looking website

Design matters, but it's not the point. The point is what happens after someone lands on your site — whether they trust you, understand you, and pick up the phone.

Look like the established business you are

For most people, your website is the first real look they get at your company. A clean, current site tells them you're legitimate, you take the work seriously, and you're still very much in business. That impression gets made before you ever pick up the phone.

Get more calls and quote requests

Your number and a quote button stay within reach on every screen instead of hiding on a contact page. When somebody is ready, there's nothing standing in the way.

Never miss a website lead

Your forms can text you the moment one comes in — name, number, and what they need, right on your phone. You call back while they're still comparing options.

Work properly on phones

I build for the phone first, because that's where your customers already are. Readable text, big tap targets, no pinching and zooming to find anything.

Load quickly

Light, fast pages keep people from bouncing — including the ones checking you out on a truck's spotty signal somewhere off 280.

Make your services easy to understand

Your work gets laid out plainly, in the words customers actually use, so nobody has to guess whether you handle their problem.

Show off the work you've done

Project galleries, before-and-after photos, and real customer reviews give people a reason to believe you before they ever pick up the phone. For most trades, a page of finished jobs does more convincing than anything you could write about yourself.

What I do

Websites, and everything that makes them work

Most of what I do falls into three buckets: custom small business web design for businesses that need a real website, website redesigns when a site has stopped pulling its weight, and website maintenance and support afterward so it doesn’t go stale.

I’m not a full-service marketing agency and I’m not trying to be. If you need something outside this list, I’ll tell you straight instead of selling you a package you don’t need.

Also part of the job

  • Landing Pages

Focused single pages built around one service, one promotion, or one ad campaign, so the traffic you pay for actually converts.

  • Mobile Optimization

Making the phone experience the best one on the site, since that's where the large majority of your visitors are coming from.

  • Lead Generation Forms

Contact and quote forms designed to get finished instead of abandoned — short, clear, and easy to fill out one-handed.

  • SMS Lead Notifications

A text the second someone submits a form, so you can call back while you're still the first business to respond.

  • Website Updates

New services, new photos, seasonal hours, updated pricing. Send it over and it gets handled — no ticket system, no waiting.

  • Performance Improvements

Speeding up a slow site and cleaning up the technical problems that quietly send visitors somewhere else.

  • Local Business Website Consulting

A straight read on what your website is doing well, what it isn't, and what's actually worth fixing first for your budget.

Based in Auburn, but not limited to it — I also take on web design for businesses across Alabama, working by phone, email, and video calls the same way I would with a client down the road.

The local advantage

Local support without the agency runaround

When your website is a real part of how you get work, you shouldn’t have to wonder who to contact when something goes wrong. I work directly with local businesses, and being easy to reach is part of the job.

“You’re not buying a website from a company. You’re hiring the person who builds it, and who picks up when you call afterward.”

  • You know exactly who's building your site

No handoff to a team you've never met. The same person handles the first conversation, the build, and the update you need eight months from now.

  • You can actually reach me

A real number and a real email that reach a real person — not a support queue with an auto-reply and a case number.

  • I respond quickly

Most messages get answered the same business day. When your site is down or a form has stopped working, that difference matters a lot.

  • I know this market

I live and work here. I know what customers around Auburn and Opelika are looking for, and who you're up against when they search.

  • I'm here when something needs fixing

Broken form, new photos, changed hours, a service you no longer offer. Send it over and it gets handled — no ticket, no waiting a week.

  • I'm in this for the long run

I'd rather look after a handful of local businesses for years than churn through one-off projects. Your site should keep getting better, not go stale.

Built locally. Supported locally.

Your website is built here, hosted on reliable infrastructure, and looked after by someone a short drive away.

How it works

Four steps, and I handle the technical part

You shouldn't need to learn what a domain registrar is to get a good website. Here's the whole process from your side of it.
  1. 01

    Tell me about your business

We talk — on the phone, over coffee, or at your shop. I want to know what you do, who you want calling you, and what's frustrating you about your current site.

    Free, no pressure

  2. 02

    We plan your website

I come back with a plan: what pages you need, what goes on them, and what will actually move the needle for your business. You'll know the price and the timeline before anything starts.

    Clear scope and pricing

  3. 03

    I build it

You get updates as it comes together and a link to review the real thing, not a flat picture of it. Hosting, domains, forms, and the technical side are all handled for you.

    You review as we go

  4. 04

    Launch and ongoing support

Your site goes live, your forms start texting you leads, and I'm still here afterward. When something needs changing, you contact me directly and it gets done.

    Local support after launch

Hosting, domains, email forwarding, forms, security certificates, the parts nobody enjoys — I set all of it up and keep an eye on it. You send me content and answer a few questions. That’s your side of the job.

Free website review

Not sure if your website needs an upgrade?

Send me your web address and I’ll go through it the way one of your customers would — on a phone, in a hurry — and tell you what’s working, what isn’t, and what I’d fix first.

No cost, no obligation, and no pitch you have to sit through. If your site is in decent shape, I’ll tell you that too.

Don’t have a website yet? Even better — tell me about your business and I’ll sketch out what yours should include.

  • Mobile usability

How your site behaves on the phone most of your customers are holding.

  • Speed

How long people wait before your pages actually appear.

  • Calls to action

Whether it's obvious what a visitor should do next, on every screen.

  • Design and first impression

What your site says about your business in the first five seconds.

  • Trust and credibility

Reviews, real photos, service area, and the details that prove you're established.

  • Lead capture

How easy it is to contact you, and whether those messages actually reach you.

  • Overall experience

The confusing spots, dead ends, and small frustrations quietly costing you calls.

Get in touch

Let's talk about your website

Tell me a bit about your business and what you’re hoping to fix. You’ll hear back from me directly — not a sales team, not a chatbot.

  • I read it myself — it goes straight to my phone.
  • I'll look at your current site if you have one.
  • You get a straight answer on what I'd do and what it costs.
